Great Netbook! By bgomez Every review that questions the speed of this netbook perplexes me. It does everything I want to to with normal speed. I use Firefox, Skype, Steam, iTunes, Pidgin, Thunderbird and all of them work perfectly and load up in a matter of seconds. I am dual booting Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook Remix and even that work really well. The only hardware that didn’t work right after install Ubuntu was the Wi-Fi adapter. I was able to find drivers and install that easily and I am new to Linux. On Ubuntu, I was able to get Skype, Pidgin, and Thunderbird installed in addition to what comes with Ubuntu (Firefox and others). On Windows 7, I am running Steam and on there I have been able to run games like Plants vs Zombies, Flight Control HD, Doom 1&2, Star Wars Jedi Knight series. It actually surprises me that this netbook can play Half Life 2 and Doom 3 at low settings pretty smoothly. If you are looking for a machine to play games made after 2005, you should not buy this machine, but if you are looking for something to be very portable this is a great machine. The power plug is a standard 3 prong power plug that is small enough to take up only one socket on a power strip. My only complaint with the keyboard is that the Caps Lock key does not have a light on it that indicates if Caps Lock is on or not, but Dell has a program install that tells on the monitor if Caps Lock is switched on or off. My biggest complaint with the track pad is that the left and right click buttons seem flimsy, but I haven’t found anything online saying that anyone has had them break.
Great netbook for portable web browsing and media use.

i am happy By indie i am really happy with the laptop. I got it for my elder sister who writes novels and is always on the go. this fits perfectly in her handbag and with a battery life of 5-6 hours she can work at ease anywhere. Overall good buy. Value for money.

Relsolution Incorrect By Mike The product page indicates that the resolution is 1366×768, but it is not. It is the standard 1024×600 netbook screen. I ordered this 3/01/11 from Amazon for the better screen (as compared with similarly priced units locally), but upon arrival, the resolution was not as stated. All other specs seemed to match, but they are pretty standard across all brands. As always, Amazon was happy to accept the return given the error.
