Well, at this point, and for just under $1500, this does not sound like the next generation of tablet laptops. However, it makes up for the lack in frequency with a 3 MB L3 cache and a good front side bus (in short, FSB) of 800 MHz. Although the CPU is not too powerful, it is agile sufficient for a laptop this size. Just don’t suppose too much from it. Next, we took a look at the memory. The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Tablet comes with 2 GB of high speed DDR3 random access memory (in short, RAM). The size is very likeable and the 1067 MHz frequency at which the memory works is even better. We must agree that the memory must get a 10 out of 10 points for performance and agility. Next, we were impressed by the 12.1 inch WXGA display benefiting from both LED Backlight and Wide Viewing Angle technologies. Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Tablet’s hard disk drive is huge sufficient (250 GB), but spins at just 5400 rotations per minute. Also, the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 wireless adaptor and Integrated Mobile Broadband are great additions! We consider this tablet laptop to deliver what it promises, though not in full.
